Summer House Tampa Furniture

If you check this one out, and you see me there, I wouldn't be surprised...this is such a sweet little shop, I can't stay away from it. It's great for making a thrifting day out of it because the location is awesome! If you are looking for statement pieces, I would look here! They have a lot of great coastal furniture items that fit the Florida vibes. As an added bonus, there are two shops on either side of this one that have decor items, too — Frickin' Fab Furniture and Decor and Oh Whatever Furniture and Home Decor! And, of course, stop for ice cream after at Dairy Joy, which is less than a five-minute drive down the road.

Repeat Performance Boutique

This is for the clothes thrifters out there! This place has so many fun fashion finds, packed into such a small space. Just about every occasion between special events, work, or every day. It's truly like a treasure hunt because there are lots of items to look through. They also take donations of course, if you are in spring cleaning mode, still!

Market at Left Bank

Again, the Florida, coastal dream! This shop has so many fun Florida flares, lots of glassware, and fun decor items that can spice up your home, especially if you're a neutrals gal like me. And, trust me when I say you have to go across the parking lot immediately after and grab a mimosa and french toast from the bistro! It's like being transported to a sweet French restaurant, and the food and drinks are drool-worthy.

MISRED Outfitters

I'm going to loop this in with thrift shops because they have one-off items, but they have new items! This is such a prime location, being right on Central Ave In St. Pete, and is a must-stop if you're spending the day there. They call themselves the "Anthropologie Alternative" and I 1000% get it! It's all the boho, antro dupes that your closet is craving!

What you should bring with you on your thrifting day:

  1. Beverage - is there anything that can't be made better with a bevvie in hand? Bring along your Olipop flavor of the day, your emotional support water bottle, or even a snack that pairs with that!

  2. Dress in layers - every store has it's own temp control level, so you know that you are going to be freezing in one place and sweat in the other. Brings layers so you can add or subtract from your outfit and focus on your shopping.

  3. Hand sanitizer - thrift shops get a lot of traction, and we know they also get a lot of inventory to sort through. This means that there might be some items that need a little love in the cleaning department. For items like this, it can be good to bring along your hand sanitizer as a just in case as you are walking out of the store.

  4. Reusable, washable bag - always a great sustainable option for shopping anywhere. We love one that is washable so you can ensure you are not putting your groceries in the same one.

Look at you, off on your big thrifting day after reading this. We couldn't be more proud! Tag us in your shopping day adventures so we can repost and be brought in on the fun!!
